10 celebrities are paired up with 10 gorgeous rescue dogs and compete against each other in obedience, agility and doggy dancing. Their goal is to learn new skills with their four legged partners, impress a panel of judges - Donelda Guy, Steve Mann and Brendan Cole, the ultimate goal is to find new homes for our orphaned pooches.

Kevin Sacre and his dog, Sven, were crowned champions 2008, ably trained by Julie Hindle. Other celebrities learning new found canine skills were Raef Bjayou, Ninia Benjamin, Brian Blessed, Camilla Dallerup, Elize du Toit, MC Harvey, Javine, Lesley Joseph and Jason Wood.

The good news is that all the dogs were re-homed successfully. So a very happy ending all round.
