The Eurovision Dance Contest came back bigger and brasher in its second year. Live from Glasgow, 14 countries competed against each other to win the crown Eurovision Dance Contest Champion 2008. This time the couples were made up of one celebrity and one professional dancer, and they had to impress a panel of internationally renowned judges as well as the audience watching across Europe. Representing the UK this year was soap star Louisa Lytton with Strictly Come Dancing's Vincent Simone but the couple dancing their way to the crown was Marcin Mroczek and Edyta Herbus from Poland.
